ROLE PURPOSE HR Systems Officer is a member of HR Systems & Compensation team and is responsible for keeping HR data and HRIS up to date, expatriate payroll & benefits administration and for processing all employees and position movements within the company. Key areas of this role:
Main HRIS Administrator
Processing payroll & benefits for expatriates
Managing organizational charts and employee movements
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES HRIS
Maintain HR Master data, including regular reviews to identify areas for improvement
HR reporting, data analysis and trends, metrics as required.
On-boarding and Exit employees from the HRIS, in collaboration with HR Operations team
Maintain accurate and up to date master data in HRIS ensuring integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information.
Propose and implement automation and process improvements in alignment with department and company needs
Maintain and update employee leave balances
Troubleshoot and provide support to employees with HRIS-related issues.
Create guides, materials and videos as required
Payroll and Benefits
Perform expatriate employee’s payroll administration and processing duties under supervision, maintaining a high level of accuracy
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all payments, deductions and adjustments. Generate reports as required
Support BH payroll processing as needed
Enroll and deregister employees from private health insurance and other benefits programs, ensuring timely updates and accurate records
Assist in review and reconciliation of payroll data, ensuring accuracy and consistency
Support end of year performance management and bonus calculations
Organizational Management and Compensation
Maintain and update the organizational structure in HRIS in accordance with applicable procedures and work instructions.
Ensure alignment between job roles, reporting structures, and system records to support workforce planning.
Grade jobs and submit to approval in line with company Job Grading policy
Ensure all changes are in line with company renumeration practices and salary scales
Create, track and process Change of Status (COS) documentation for all movements
Provide reporting and analysis of organizational changes as needed
Other
Support performance management process implementation and data collecting
Assist in Short-Term Incentive Plan (STIP) and Long-Term Incentive Plan (LTIP) data collecting
Continuously create and update HR procedures related to HR Systems team responsibilities
Assist in audits and reporting as needed.
PERSONAL AND GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:
BA in HR related field (Economy, Psychology, Law or similar)
Driver’s license is required
Minimum 1 year experience in same or similar position
English Proficiency – C1
Previous Payroll and HRIS experience is a plus
COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Superuser in selected HRIS
Proficient Microsoft Tools user
Able to understand, learn and use various digital tools without (Trello, Notion, Miro)
Strong data management and administrative skills
Payroll competencies are a plus
Note: The position is primarily based in Sarajevo, with occasional travel to Vareš as required by business needs.
