About the position:

EHS Specialist is responsible for the identification and control of the risks to associates and the environment that arise from physical, chemical, biological and other workplace hazards in order to establish and maintain safe and healthy working conditions and minimize the adverse impact of operations to the physical environment.

Duties / Accountabilities:
• Designs, develops, implements and oversees the organization's environmental health and safety programs and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities
• Inspects and evaluates the environment, equipment and processes in working areas to ensure compliance with government safety regulations and industry standards on monthly and daily basis
• Recommends changes to protect workers, and educate employees on how to prevent health problems through the use of safety training programs
• Investigates accidents and near misses to identify their causes and find ways to prevent them in the future
• Leads Multi-Site Initiatives in the Safety area
• Conducts monthly Gemba Walks, Safety Blitzes and regular Safety meetings Ensure all personnel wear their personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Responsible for addressing all security issues worldwide and to protect the Company’s personnel and property from within and outside the corporation
• Responsible for assessing potential health and safety impacts of operations and developing programs to respond to these impacts
• Monitors emerging ESG (environmental, social, governance) requirements and assesses their impact on the company, ensuring policies, systems and processes are in place
• Protects the organization’s employees, properties and all items of value on the organization's premises from any preventable harm or danger
• Ensure that all facilities are in compliance with regulations


• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, or related technical or sciences field (such as chemistry, biology, physics, environmental management)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing safety and environmental role
• Fluent in English
