About the position:

Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for identifying and executing against performance improvement opportunities, supporting successful implementations within the plant, and building people's capabilities within the company, using contemporary performance improvement tools. This includes using Lean Six Sigma methodologies and driving reductions in Cost of Poor Quality. Also, Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for managing Continuous Improvement function and is a part of the Plant Leadership Team. 

Duties / Accountabilities:
  • Responsible for the Continuous Improvement structure within the Plant
  • Coordinates continuous improvement project responsibilities within the roles and departments
  • Supports realization of the identified CI projects
  • Creation of the case studies for the potential cost saving projects
  • Support to the all Plant associates regarding projects and improvement ideas
  • Conducts Lean and Six Sigma Trainings for Plant associates and provides guidance for Lean tools usage
  • Advisor for improvement project evaluation
  • Tracking and reporting of the financial and non-financial Plant improvements
  • Identify and facilitate process improvement projects, training/workshops to drive cultural change
  • Conduct root cause analysis to determine metrics, troubleshoot manufacturing/ business and assembly issues, material flow, project plans, production capacity, facility design, and create process documentation
  • Carrying out advanced data collection and analysis for process mapping, develop budgets, and cost analysis to determine project feasibility
  • Develop and conduct program evaluations and reviews to drive results with the fortitude to ensure change is consistent
  • Reporting of the CI project results, financial and non-financial improvements, and CI Maturity Index on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to Plant Manager and other relevant stakeholders
  • Coordinates Kaizen Blitzes and Gemba Walks on site

  • Educated to Engineering, General Business or Statistics Degree
  • 5+ years related work experience required
  • Experience in manufacturing and/or international environment is preferred 
  • Demonstrated ability to implement new techniques and continuous improvement programs at all levels of manufacturing operations
  • Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma manufacturing principles/processes
  • Fluent in English language
